The Little One started out strong, leading her dad. Eric wasn't far behind, though.
Eric must have passed her during the race because he was the first to enter the home stretch. Smiles and waving, he doesn't even seem tired.
The Little One looked quite different. But she's still running, and there were lots of people still behind her.
We stayed around afterwards for awards, and good thing... she won 1st place in her age group!! Way to go!
There's that smile!!
Now that she won first place, she has a bit more confidence going into her school cross country meets. I'm so proud of her!
