While in town, we found ourselves on the famous Route 66! Just a block further and we saw this sign, so I had to grab some photos...
Next, we drove to Union City. Here's the home where my mom grew up.
Our final stop for the day was visiting with my other aunt and cousins. So great to see so many extended family members! The next day we continued south toward Texas. Took a picnic lunch with a nice overlook at Turner Falls.
On Christmas Eve, it was lots of holiday lights. What a perfect picture to express the moment!
