Changing Rooms

Now that our oldest moved away to college, the bonus room was up for grabs.  Our son was given a budget, found his furniture, and had it delivered to the house.

Then we re-painted his old room......

And finally completed the switch.

Moved Away

Our oldest was busy all summer long packing, finding on-line discounts for linens, organizing her belongings, and making lists.  It all came down to one event:  Move-In Day at USC!

One week prior, all items were moved downstairs, ready to go except for those daily essentials.

The night before, the family loaded up the car.  By the time we were finished, only one person would be able to fit - the driver.

It was sad to let her go, but I'm so excited for her at the same time.  Miss her already!

Daddy's 45th Birthday

Eric turned 45 yesterday, and the family celebrated "Daddy style"!

His restaurant of choice was GattiTown, a 45 minute drive away in Spartanburg.

Once we got home, the family had a party ready for him.  He received a gift card to a Mediterranean restaurant, some funyuns (brand of chips), beef jerkey, a nice camping sleeping bag, a woopie cushion, and a date night out with Mommy to Sippin' Safari.
