Easter

It's Easter morning and  the little one was up first.  She found some of the eggs, but needed her brother to find the rest.

Their baskets were filled with items they cherished most:  Our son gave up gum for Lent, and received a little surprise note for a free flight lesson.

Our oldest gave up chocolate, so her basket was filled with lots of her favorite candy.  She also received a special note that included a pedicure, shoes, alteration, and hair appointment for prom night.

Our little one was just excited to see her basket the fullest!  She received flip flops, hair bands, sticker earrings, and lots of little toys.

After church, we changed clothes and searched for eggs outside.  No matter how old the kids get, this is one of their favorite traditions!

Soccer Season

It's Spring, and that means soccer season for all 3 of our kids!  We usually have about 4 games each week, with practices every day.  It definitely keeps us busy, but worth it to watch the smiles on their faces.

We've had such a cold spring that we've been bundled up in the bleachers.  The players didn't seem to mind much, though.

Our youngest is on the yellow team, and her last season at this level.  She is definitely ready to move up to the next league.

Our son is goalie, so he's also in a yellow shirt.  He is only a 7th grader, but playing high school JV.
